| As the old adage
goes, that which you have feared has come upon you. In other
words, how do you get through your current situation or challenge?
The answer is with a renewed mind, step- by-
step and moment- by- moment. You must face the situation head
on, setting the intention of maneuvering in order to maneuver
successfully through it.
Ask yourself these Questions regarding your
current situation or challenge:
What is my current Challenge?
Take the time to thoroughly take a look at the situation
regardless of how difficult it may appear. Write the challenge
down, focusing on one challenge at a time.
What are my perceptions
about my challenge?
You must look at the situation from your perspective only,
as it will be you who turns the situation around. Although
you may seek the help of others, you must first define the
situation as you view it.
What are the thoughts
in my mind right now regarding my challenge?
Thoughts turn into reality. For a few minutes or as long as
it takes focus in and write down the thoughts you’ve
had about this situation. Be honest with yourself, this is
information only you can provide.
What are the emotion(s)
I am feeling about this situation?
Write down your true state of mind around this situation,
not the one you’d like to project but your TRUE state
of mind and the emotions that you feel when you allow yourself
to feel them.
What actions am I currently
taking around to address the challenge?
Take a look at your situation and decide if you are taking
action, playing the victim or waiting for the situation to
disappear. Write down your actions whether you view them positively
or negatively.
What are my results
(negative or positive)?
What have you achieved with the perceptions, thoughts, feelings
& actions that you have had around your current situation
and/or challenge? If you have honestly answered the above
questions, you have created a situation and/or challenge you
wish to change. In order to make the ideal change, go back
and answer all the same exact questions with your ultimate
vision or ideal resolution in mind. You will be pleasantly
surprised at how the challenge seems so much smaller and manageable.
Taking the time to write things out isn worth the time it
takes;, it allows you to see just how much power and ability
you have to create the desired outcome for yourself.
What is the message(s)
stored in my brain regarding this challenge/situation?
You have so many childhood messages stored in your
head that no longer serve you as an adult. Make a note of
those messages and decide to replace the ones that are of
no use with powerful affirmations that speak to the essence
of who you are. Post them around your house or in your car
to be reminded to feed yourself only good thoughts.
Understanding that fear has no place in your
life when you realize the truth of who you are - , a powerful,
uniquely designed, problem solver. You must take control of
your thoughts in order to steer your life in the direction
you desire. Once you do so, fear will no longer be allowed
to hitch a ride.
Designate consistent time and energy on working
towards the resolution of your situation. Acknowledge that
many before you have encountered similar experience(s). Therefore,
look for books, tapes, and local support groups, and know
that you are never truly alone even when feeling your loneliest,
no matter how lonely you feel.
Continually feed your mind with thoughts and
affirmations of peace, abundance, support, love and success.
Remember to write them down and post them where they will
be seen and read frequently. By embracing new progressive
thoughts, all fears will dissipate into the nothingness from
which they came.
